Melina Rai

Melina Rai is Singer at Nepali music industry and most beautiful Nepali singer of beautiful song “Kutu ma Kutu” from Nepali movie “Dui Rupaiyan”. Melina Rai is chorus singer and dance teacher, she started getting noticed after giving hits like “Kammar mathi patuki” and “Sirai ma sirbandi”.

Early Life
Melina Rai is originally from Khotang district of Nepal, although she was born in Darjeeling and spent childhood there.
Education
Melina Rai started her schooling from Darjeeling but the age of 10 while she was in class 3, she moved to Kathmandu with their parents.
Music Career

My Experiences

From childhood she is very curious for listening and singing songs, and for that her father fulfilled her desire a lot. She got huge support from their parents for singing. This is due to her father “Jibesh Rai” who is most popular name is music industry. He is very well known as music teacher and trained so many singers to enhance their singing skill. At the age of 11 she recorded her first song “Himal ko kakh” which was also featured on Radio Nepal. In 2065 B.S. Melina participated in “National Modern Song Competition” organized by Radio Nepal, in which she passed and selected for the winner. This achievement was her second big success of her life. For the presence and recognition she released her solo album “Bahar”.
